Vacation Rentals Rental Agreement
Short-term Vacation Rentals are separately licensed private vacation rentals operated by Cheryl, Kirk, and Tyler Grantham and offered as self-catering accommodations and do not include the amenities or services of the separately licensed and resident-proprietor operated Casa Grandview Bed and Breakfast. Please find State, County, and City Licensing information under the Vacation Rental tab and then the individual vacation rental accommodation listing.
Smoking any substance, vaping, lighting of candles, incense charcoal grills, etc., is prohibited while a vacation rental guest. Guests must be at least 21 years old to reserve (with the exception of our Military guests who must be at least 18 years old). Well-behaved children and their family are welcome in vacation rentals. Group rentals are prohibited by City Ordinance. Contactless Check-in is provided and guests arrive directly to the vacation rental address of the accommodation reserved. Arrival information and address is provided by email in advance from the owners with the balance paid 30 days prior to arrival. A Vacation Rental Checklist is also provided in each vacation rental accommodation with more helpful arrival and departure information. Occupancy not to be exceeded. Vacation rental guests may request a private barbeque grill and tank in their yard which is available at $35 per stay (please advance arrange by email).
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. (please advance contact us to discuss earlier or later arrival times)
Check-out: Prior to 10:00 a.m. (we thank you for your understanding of the time required in cleaning and readying the rental for the next incoming guests)
Vacation Rental Deposit/Payment Details
Guest reservations are guaranteed with an advance credit card deposit of 50% of reservation cost and taxes on the guest’s credit card at booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival and guest agrees to pay the balance with the credit card on file. We accept Master Card, Visa, and American Express cards, and guest agrees balance may be charged 30 days prior to arrival. Credit card details of the “staying guest” must be provided when booking with us.
Gift Certificates cannot be used as a vacation rental deposit. Please contact Cheryl Grantham directly for information on Gift Certificates or pre-authorization payment for friends and family stays. No sub-letting of accommodations. Please call Cheryl at 561.313.9695, if you plan to pay your balance with a Casa Grandview Gift Certificate.
Vacation Rental Cancellation
Reservation holder may cancel their Vacation Rental by email. Cancellation made outside of 30 days subject to an administrative fee. Cancellation within 30 days of arrival, the guest agrees the remaining balance be charged on the card provided. If same dates can be resold, a refund is issued less administrative fee of $50 or 5%, whichever amount is greater. If dates are not sold, and balance is paid in full, a credit is issued for a future stay within 12 months of original reservation dates. Reservation modifications are subject to a $35.00 fee. Cancellations subject to an administrative fee. No refund on early departures. We recommend you purchase trip insurance. All third party reservations are non-refundable.
Vacation Rental Details
Occupancy capacity based on full rate reservations in Vacation Rentals (occupancy for each rental noted on vacation accommodation page). Maximum occupancy shall not be exceeded. Discounted promotional rates are offered for two guests only–additional guests fee of $35 per person if room capacity allows.
Well-behaved children and their parents are welcome in our short-term vacation rentals (except Guest House which has a capacity for 2 adults). No additional fee for children 12 and under. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded.
Self-catering vacation rentals do not include housekeeping or any of the services of Casa Grandview Bed & Breakfast which is separately licensed and operated. Housekeeping can be arranged through a licenced, professional cleaning service ($70.00 per hour, two maids, 2 1/2 hour minimum and advance notice for scheduling required. Please call Cheryl at 561.313.9695 to arrange). Guest agrees to follow Vacation Rental Checklist guidelines (found in accommodation). If occupancy is exceeded, dishes are left for housekeeping service to wash, or extraordinary cleaning is necessary on departure, the guest agrees to pay an additional cleaning fee on the credit card provided for the reservation commensurate with necessary cleaning.
Vacation accommodations are professionally cleaned and beds made with fresh linens prior to arrival. Charleston, Bahama, Key West, and Seagrass offer washer/dryer. A coin-operated washer/dryer is available for registered vacation rental guests only. Guests can use wash and fold or dry cleaning service at nearby Jack Sheehan’s Cleaners, 1510 Lake Avenue (two blocks west at Howard Park). If you wash our linens, please do not bleach sheets or towels and please separate white sheets or towels when washing. Guest agrees to pay for damage and/or missing linens on departure and agrees it can be charged to the credit card used for the reservation.
Accommodations are fully furnished and offer equipped kitchens. Complimentary On Arrival Only Package includes 10 oz. bag of coffee or beans (Cuisinart Coffee Maker provided in the kitchen–except Charleston House which has a Thermador Coffee Maker), half n’ half, bottled water, dishwasher pods, paper products, cleaning supplies, trash bags, Gilchrist & Soames shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, etc. Please see Vacation Rentals Amenities List under the Vacation Rental selected.
Guest agrees credit card authorization will be kept on file for the duration of stay for security deposit and agrees to pay a replacement fee for broken or missing items, red wine or other damage to bedding, towels, flooring, furnishings, property and agrees to pay a $250 fine for smoking in the accommodation on the credit card used for the reservation. Please do not place flat irons on furniture to avoid a charge to your credit card. Please do not move the furniture which could result in a damage charge.
Guests can mail us a postage-paid mailer for any clothing or personal items left behind. Once we receive the mailer or box, we are happy to return personal items. Please be aware any items held over 30 days, without a response from guest or mailer, are donated to local charities.

Guest agrees to take responsibility for cancellations, delays, or interruptions of travel due to weather or illness and acknowledges Casa Grandview Vacation Rentals has recommended protecting your trip by purchasing Trip Insurance. In the event the City of West Palm Beach issues an evacuation order due to a hurricane within 24 hours of your arrival, we will refund or credit any deposits to a future stay and you must leave the City.f
We offer dog-friendly accommodations, allowing our canine guests the same comfortable surroundings that our two-legged guests experience. Prior to arrival, please contact us to discuss our “pooch policy” and to receive approval to bring your dog which must have a valid rabies shot, current license tag and proof of flea meds. We accept crate trained dogs under 35 lbs. Your dog must be accompanied by you at all times and leashed when outdoors under Palm Beach County Regulations. Pets may not be left outside in the yard (it’s warm here folks) and are not permitted in any common areas. Please note cleaning fee under vacation rental accommodation.
