Formerly known as the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, Wellington International is home to the Winter Equestrian Festival, the longest-running equestrian event in the world. Open to visitors from January to March, Wellington International is the best place to go to witness the best equestrians in competitions and in horse shows.

This annual event runs for 12 weeks between January and April, attracting equestrians from around the world of all different skill levels. Each week is considered its own horse show, and there are competitions for each week as well as some that run throughout the entire duration of the festivities.

The Jim Brandon Equestrian Center is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, and was designed with horse enthusiasts in mind. With over 100 acres of facilities, this center offers an affordable way to entertain equestrian groups. By appointment only.

The Gauntlet of Polo is the biggest spectacle of the season in the world of polo. The best athletes and finest horses come to battle for three months over 3 events: The C.V Whitney Cup, the USPA Gold Cup, and the U.S Open Polo Championship.

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is the spring training location for the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.
