3 Ways to Chill out at Rapids Water Park

1. Pick Your Favorite Ride

With 42 different rides and attractions, Rapids Water Park is easily one of our favorite West Palm Beach water parks. Black Thunder is perfect for thrill seekers. Ride a multi-person raft through twists and turns in total darkness. Then, drop into a vortex funnel and experience the ride of a lifetime! Beware: the ride has a certified “wild” rating.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly ride, we suggest the Old Yellar. These four flume-style slides spiral riders down 1600 feet of twists and turns. Each slide is different, so ride all four for the complete experience!

Kids will delight in Alligator Alley, a floating obstacle course. Hang on to the overhead net as you navigate the “swamp” without falling in! Kids of all ages will love this challenge.

2. Float Along the Lazy River

The quarter-mile-long Lazy River is one of the water park’s most popular attractions! Grab a tube and float along the soothing waters to your heart’s content. The river features water-shooting cannons, a waterfall, and fountain islands.

An adult should accompany all children and non-swimmers on the ride. The only other ride restriction? Attendees must be able to have FUN!

3. Cool Down With an Ice Cream Treat

After a few activities, you’ll need a break from the action. Rapids Water Park has two full-service snack bars and two adults-only tiki bars. Our favorite mid-day refreshment is a fresh-scooped ice cream cone at Frosty Creations.

Want to be treated like a VIP for the day? Rapids’ daily cabana rentals include privacy curtains, a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, comfortable lounge chairs, and food and beverage service. Get ready to relax in style!
