5 Reasons to Test out Your Sea Legs at the Palm Beach Boat Show

1. It’s One of the Best Boat Show Marketplaces

Whether you’re looking to buy a new vessel or you’re interested in learning more about boating, there’s something for everyone. The Palm Beach Boat Show is an international boat show. This means that there are hundreds of boats on display from all over the world. The ships, yachts, and accessories exhibited are worth more than $1.2 billion altogether. Stroll along Lake Worth Lagoon in West Palm Beach and see some of the most spectacular ships in the world!

2. Watch Fun Demos

Aquazone is the largest attraction at the Palm Beach Boat Show! Their 40,000-gallon freshwater pool sets the stage for captivating demos of the latest in watersport technology. Get a front-row seat for their Jetpack demos, electric surfboards, paddle boarding, and Hobie kayaks.

3. Attend a Seminar

You won’t want to miss the excellent lineup of seminars for all ages. Kids will love the Kid’s Fishing Clinics by Hook the Future. The fishing education workshop is open to kids from ages 4-16 on Saturday and Sunday. There’s no need to sign up in advance, as participation in the clinic is free!

For adults, the IFGA School of Sportfishing provides seminars led by fishing experts. During all four days of the show, you can come and learn about topics ranging from “Rule the Reefs” to “Targeting Inshore Game Fish.” These seminars are also free and open to the public.

4. Become a VIP for a Day

Want to make your boat show experience even more special? The VIP experience does just that. You’ll have access to the exclusive VIP hangout at the Lakeside Pavilion on Flagler Drive. This indoor and outdoor lounge is perfect for relaxing during show hours. Wine and dine at the open bar, enjoy hors-d’oeuvres, and meet fellow boating enthusiasts. Want to make the deal even better? When you purchase two VIP tickets, you’ll save $50.

5. But Wait, There’s More for Boating Enthusiasts

The fun doesn’t have to end after the weekend event is over! For those coming back to Florida in the summer, be sure not to miss the West Palm Beach Boat Show. This boat show, held at the South Florida Fairgrounds, features a public used boat, vehicle and equipment auction every year.

If you’re in town in December, the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is a must-see event. Admire the beautiful light displays that adorn the ships and watch spectacular fireworks displays. It’s one of our favorite things to do in West Palm Beach during the holidays!
