You Need to Visit these 4 Museums in West Palm Beach
1. Flagler Museum
Have you ever wanted to step back in time? Then the Flagler Museum is perfect for you! The museum was home to Henry Flagler in the early 20th century, and it stands today as a relic of the Gilded Age’s grandeur. The estate, called Whitehall, is a 75-room mansion featuring stunning gardens and breathtaking architecture. The museum also hosts various exhibits about Gilded Age politics, art, and fashion.
2. Norton Museum of Art
Contemporary art, photography, and global exhibits abound at the Norton Museum! The Norton is home to over 7,600 works of art, including some American, Chinese, and European pieces. The museum recently completed its biggest renovation to date on February 9th, 2019. The project included adding a state-of-the-art auditorium as well as an expanded gallery space.
During your visit, don’t miss the fun exhibitions or exciting programs for all ages. Our personal favorite is Art After Dark. During this special event, the museum keeps its doors open until 10 p.m. on Friday nights. In addition to the museum’s usual offerings, you’ll find cocktails, art activities, concerts, and film screenings.
