Inn Policies


Contactless Check-in
For the convenience of our guests, contactless check-in is provided for all reservations. Guests receive an advance email or text with an individual door code and instructions. Should you need assistance, please call (561) 313-9695. Once the remaining balance is paid on a reservation 24 hours in advance, guests will receive their email or text with a keyless entry code and arrival information. Please confirm receipt of your email in advance of your arrival.
Our regular check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance at (561) 313-9695 to request an earlier or later check-in time (without advance notice early arrival cannot be guaranteed). Guest arrivals past 6:00 p.m. must be pre-arranged for the convenience of incoming guests, and the comfort of our on-property guests.

Check-out 
Please check out before 10:00 a.m. Please contact us by phone or text message at (561) 313-9695 to request a later departure time at least 24 hours before departure late departures cannot be guaranteed otherwise due to incoming guest arrivals. Professional housekeeping service is scheduled in advance of your departure to ready the room for incoming guests and housekeepers arrive promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Children
Our intimate five-room inn is not suitable for children. Casa Grandview Vacation Rentals are perfect for families.
Deposits
Guest Reservations are guaranteed with a credit card deposit of 50% of reservation cost and taxes. Balance is due the day before arrival at the inn for guests to receive a confirmed, contactless check-in email or text to arrive directly at the accommodation. Casa Grandview does not have a front desk. Guests needing assistance may call (561) 313-9695 on arrival. Master Card, Visa, and American Express cards are accepted on direct inn reservations. Credit card details of the 'staying guest' must be provided and booked with Casa Grandview and not by a third party or paid with a third party's credit card. Please kindly provide a positive I.D. in the form of a passport or valid state driver's license.

Confirmation of reservation is sent by email to the email provided at booking. Casa Grandview uses Google Customer Reviews to collect feedback on how they're doing. Your booking agreement indicates you agree to permit us to contact you by email or text.

Please contact us regarding Gift Cards, Guest Credit Vouchers, or pre-authorization for friends and family stays at (561) 655.8932. A reservation deposit cannot be paid with a Gift Card or Guest Credit Voucher other than one issued by Casa Grandview. Paying your balance with a Gift Card? Please let us know, and we'll be happy to assist and note your reservation. Gift Cards may not be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Third-Party Online Travel Agent Booking
Booking confirmations and arrival information are sent to the generic email address provided to us by the online travel agent. Please contact us after booking to provide your cell number to receive texts or personal email arrival information.

Third-party OTA (online travel agents like Expedia) bookings require payment in full at booking and, as advertised, are non-refundable reservations.  A 50% deposit is collected at confirmation with the balance collected once credit card authorization and positive I.D. are provided.
Hurricane Policy
Guest agrees to take responsibility for cancellations, delays, or interruptions of travel due to weather or illness and acknowledges Casa Grandview has recommended protecting your trip by purchasing Trip Insurance. In the event the City of West Palm Beach issues an evacuation order due to a hurricane within 24 hours of your arrival, we will refund or credit any deposits to a future stay and you must leave the City.
Inn Cancellation Details
If plans change and you cancel your reservation in our Inn, please provide us with a written email notice from the reservation holder. The reservation holder may cancel 14 days or more before the arrival date. The deposit will be refunded less an administrative fee of $50.00 or 5% of the reservation (whichever is larger). Reservation modifications are subject to a $35.00 fee.

If you cancel reservations at our Inn with less than fourteen (14) days' notice or depart early, we ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation cost. If we rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made. If dates are not sold and the balance is paid, a Guest Voucher Credit will be issued for a future stay to be used on a like accommodation within 12 months of the reservation date. No refunds for early departure.

Rates/Policies are subject to change and vary during high-impact periods and special events.
Legal Notice
As resident proprietors of our five-room historic inn, we want to share with you that this is also our home, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. By booking a suite at the Casa Grandview, you agree to hold harmless the property and owners from any injury sustained while on the grounds or at the inn.  We are not responsible for accidents or injury, damages to personal property or vehicles, or the loss of money or valuables of any kind.
Pets
For the health and quiet enjoyment of guests, pets are not permitted in our inn accommodations.  Little Miss Lucy Grantham, our 15+ years young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel resides in the owner's residence along with Bentley, our six-year-old Golden Retriever. May we share our pooches are not permitted in accommodations. We're happy to provide information about loving care for your pet nearby. The guest agrees to pay a fee of $150 on the credit card used for the reservation if the guest brings a pet into an accommodation.
Smoking/Damage
Smoking of any substance is prohibited. Guest agrees to pay a $250 fine on the credit card on file if evidence of smoking, vaping, or use of incense or lighted candles is detected.

If suites or common areas are damaged or items go missing, guests agree the credit card on file can be charged the amount of replacement of damaged items, appliances, bedding, ceiling fans, doors, furnishing, linens, lighting, mirrors, Roku TVs, or remotes.
